Make your feet into a figure eight position, with the heels about two inches apart and the toes about eight inches apart.(ii) Place your right palm downward and press it on the center of the mat. Keep your left palm still and kneel on the mat with your knees apart. (3) Press your left palm on the left side of the cushion. (iv) Move your right palm from the center to the right side of the cushion, with the two palms about six inches apart. (5) Place your head on the cushion between your palms. (6) Turn your palms outwards (palms facing upwards, with the intention of supporting the Buddha’s feet with both hands and head touching the feet) (VII) Bend the fingers of both hands and turn them over, and press them on the cushion again; (8) The head leaves the cushion and rises from the prone position; (9) Move your right palm to the center of the cushion; (10) Take your left palm off the cushion and place it in front of your chest as if you were joining your palms together. (11) Use your right palm to prop up your body (both knees leave the cushion at the same time), and place your left palm in front of your chest. This is one bow. Do a minimum of three bows. If you want to do more, add three more times, such as six, nine, twelve, etc. There is another ritual after bowing, like the common bowing, called "wenxun". It is when you put your hands together in front of your chest just after bowing, and then slightly tilt your palms downward (this is bowing) and place them near your abdomen. Then place the right palm inside the left palm, fold them into a fist, and slowly raise them from bottom to top to the level of the eyebrows (at this time you are already bowing straight), and then slowly lower both hands and put them together in front of the chest, palms facing up, fold the right hand on top of the left hand, and touch the two thumbs together. This is the Great Samadhi Seal (The Amitabha Seal is when the left hand is folded on top of the right, and the rest are the same as the Samadhi Seal).
