The Han Dynasty wiping plate is also called Liu Ren style plate because many documents indicate that this type of wiping plate was widely used in Liu Ren divination. Here, the term Liu Ren is derived from the theory of the Five Elements: The Five Elements (water, fire, wood, metal, and earth) are headed by water. Among the ten heavenly stems, Ren and Gui both belong to water. Ren is Yang water and Gui is Yin water. It abandons Yin and takes Yang, so it is named Ren. Among the sixty Jiazi, Ren has six Feng Shui compasses and Liu Ren wiping plates. The wiping plate of the Han Dynasty is also called Liu Ren style plate because many literature materials show that this kind of wiping plate was widely used in Liu Ren divination. Here, the term "Liu Ren" is derived from the theory of the Five Elements: The Five Elements (water, fire, wood, metal, earth) are headed by water. Among the ten heavenly stems, Ren and Gui both belong to water. Ren is Yang water and Gui is Yin water. It abandons Yin and takes Yang, so it is named Ren. Among the sixty Jiazi, there are six Ren (Renshen, Renwu, Renchen, Renyin, Renzi, Renxu), so it is named "Liu Ren". Using Liuren as a coordinate system to calculate the good and bad luck of the weather and direction is called Liuren technique. However, among the five elements, wood represents the east, and the east ranks first among the five directions of east, west, south, north and center. Among the ten heavenly stems, Jia and Yi both belong to wood, Jia is yang wood and Yi is yin wood. By abandoning yin and taking yang, we get Jia. Among the sixty Jiazi, there are six Jias, so we get "Liujia". Using Liujia as the coordinate system to calculate good and bad luck is the Liujia technique. Therefore, it is a bit of a generalization to name the Han Dynasty wiping plate as the Liuren style plate. In fact, it is not wrong to call the Han Dynasty wiping plate the Liujia wiping plate. The Feng Shui compass has gone through a development process from simple to complex. At first, its scale had only eight directions; in the Han Dynasty, it was increased to 12 directions; in the Tang Dynasty, it was increased to 24 directions, and there were three sets of coordinate systems: the main needle, the center needle, and the front needle. Among them, the meridian needle refers to the coordinate system with the geomagnetic north and south poles determined by the magnetic needle as the axial coordinate system; the meridian front needle refers to the coordinate system with the geographic north and south poles determined by the sun shadow as the axial coordinate system; and the meridian center needle refers to the coordinate system with the astronomical north and south poles determined by the North Star as the axial coordinate system. Summary: The above is an analysis of the origins of the Feng Shui compass and Liuren wipe plate! You can refer to it for details! I wish all readers peace, happiness and success in everything! |
